Coresteel Waikato Awarded 2021 Regional Marketing Champions
The Coresteel network recognises Waikato for their excellence in regional promotion, support for local community initiatives, and upholding the Coresteel brand.
Since 2008, John Morrow, Gary White and Trina White have led the Waikato Coresteel franchise with integrity, professionalism, and pride. As the first owners of a Coresteel franchise in New Zealand, the Waikato team has grown from a humble husband-and-wife duo to a well-known construction company with over 40 employees.
Their consistent effort to promote their business and the Coresteel brand in their local market has earned the Waikato team this year’s Regional Marketing Champion Award.
“We have a very strong commitment to the people of our community,” says Trina. “That’s what has led us to back our local rotary and so many local youth sports programmes.”
This year, Coresteel Waikato demonstrated an impressive array of regional marketing initiatives – from providing professional imagery to Coresteel’s national marketing efforts, to strengthening the Coresteel brand and profile in the region. As sponsors of the Te Awamutu Rotary Christmas Parade, Coresteel Waikato is involved in providing Santa, presenting the largest float of the parade, and helping coordinate other business sponsors and volunteers.
Coresteel Waikato also backs promising young athletes. They sponsor Laura Littlejohn, a 17-year-old swimmer currently representing New Zealand in competitions around Europe. The Waikato team says, “We’re very proud to support children with sporting excellence. It’s important to us to provide that for our community.”
“Coresteel Waikato are incredibly strong and passionate about their regional marketing,” says Simon Archer, Coresteel Buildings Commercial Manager. “They’re strong on social media, they’re strong with community engagement. They do opening events for key projects. Year on year, they’re a tough region to beat for regional marketing.”
For over a decade, this award has been given to the Coresteel franchisee who demonstrates a wide range of marketing efforts and professionalism in their region. Coresteel Waikato boasts a range of trophies received over the last 14 years, including five Franchise of the Year Awards and multiple marketing and networking achievements.
The Waikato team emphasises their commitment to delivering exceptional products to their customers. Trina explains, “Our focus on delivering quality buildings to exceed client expectations is what keeps us motivated.”
Chosen by the Coresteel national marketing team, Coresteel Waikato are the 2021 Champions for their consistent, varied, and creative strength in the area of regional marketing and national marketing contributions.
