Bay of Plenty Recognised as ‘Coresteel country’
After just over a year in the market, Coresteel Buildings’ Bay of Plenty franchise is making an impact. For their efforts the franchise received the Marketing Excellence Award at the recent Coresteel conference.
Coresteel Buildings specialise in the design, manufacture and construction of quality commercial and industrial buildings of virtually any size and shape.
With a background spanning experience in fitting and turning, sales and real estate, Sales Manager Adrian Sage joined the Coresteel team in January 2014 and says he recognised the importance of using marketing to support their launch into the region.
“I try to make sure that Coresteel Bay of Plenty is everywhere. We sponsor a local jetsprint boat, Loose Units Racing from Te Puke, we’ve got a corporate box at the Bay Park Speedway for clients and I get out to the local A&P shows and car shows as much as possible. We also make the most of road signs – we want customers to realise they’ve entered ‘Coresteel country,” says Adrian Sage, Coresteel Bay of Plenty Sales Manager.
The Bay of Plenty franchise is backed by the directors of the multi-award-winning Northland Coresteel franchise, who this year won the Coresteel Overall Excellence Award, alongside an award for the Highest Volume of Sales for 2014.
“With the backup and support I’ve received from Coresteel Northland we have sold close to $900K in the first year of operating and looking ahead to 2015/2016 we have between $12-15 million of jobs currently in the pricing stage,” says Mr Sage.
Currently in construction is a 552sqm workshop and 400sqm Nissan showroom for Farmer Auto Village on Hewletts Road, Mount Maunganui. The structure was redesigned by Coresteel’s in-house design team using a more cost-effective structural product.
“It’s clear to see from our enquiry levels that the Bay of Plenty is a hot spot for commercial and industrial development and I’m excited to see Coresteel’s innovative products and leading edge cost saving processes making a difference to the market,” says Haemish Reid, Coresteel Buildings General Manager.
The franchise office is located in Hangar 5 at 140 Aerodrome Road, Tauranga Airport. Coresteel Buildings has 20 franchises nationwide.
