The 2023 Coresteel Award Winners

Every year, the Coresteel Buildings network gathers from around the country to celebrate the Coresteel Annual Awards.

There are several category awards and the winners are judged on a range of criteria throughout the year. We’re proud to announce the winners of the 2023 Coresteel Annual Awards are:

 

Coresteel Region of the Year – Coresteel Manawatu

Geoff Spencer has led the Coresteel Manawatu team since 2010 with passion, resilience, and hard work. Over 2023, Geoff and the Manawatu team successfully delivered a number of innovative building projects, like NZ Van Lines, while representing the Coresteel brand with pride. This award acknowledges the team’s excellence across all elements of business management, sales metrics, and collaboration with and dedication to the national Coresteel network.

 

Coresteel Region of the Year Runner Up & Marketing Award – Coresteel North Harbour

Andrew and Julie Boyd from Coresteel North Harbour are recognised for their impressive sales growth, expanding business, and commitment to the Coresteel network. As runner-up, North Harbour stands as a shining example of what can be achieved through a steadfast commitment to innovative building solutions.

North Harbour also took out the Coresteel Marketing Award. Coresteel North Harbour demonstrated outstanding innovation and strategic thinking in their marketing initiatives, effectively engaging customers and driving brand awareness.

 

Coresteel Customer Engagement & Good Bugger Award – Coresteel Waikato

Coresteel Waikato, led by Gary and Trina White, were awarded the Coresteel Customer Engagement Award. Coresteel Waikato’s win is a testament to their unwavering dedication to client satisfaction, evidenced by their proactive communication, personalised approach, and ability to consistently exceed expectations.

Gary and Trina were also awarded the ‘Good Bugger’ Award. The Good Bugger Award, named in memory of the exceptional franchisee Grant Donaldson, is awarded to a team who are always going above and beyond to support their network and their community.

 

The Coresteel Brand Award – Coresteel Bay of Plenty

Coresteel recognises Simon Eilering and the Bay of Plenty team for their outstanding efforts in promoting the Coresteel brand within their local area. Through strategic partnerships and active participation in community events, the Bay of Plenty team has effectively communicated Coresteel’s values, services, and benefits to their target audience.

 

Coresteel Community Engagement Award – Coresteel Franklin

The Coresteel network acknowledges the Franklin team for their commitment to making a positive impact in their community. This award is a well-deserved recognition for Karl Lipscombe and Franklin’s dedication to building strong community connections. A great example being the defibrillator that Franklin kindly donated to a local rugby club, which has already been used in a time of need.

 

Supplier of the Year – Design Station

Design Station has been named Supplier of the Year. This award acknowledges Design Station’s commitment to delivering outstanding support and innovative solutions to Coresteel and its network. Their proactive efforts, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond have truly set them apart as a trusted and invaluable supplier.

 

Warehouse Building of the Year – Coresteel Manawatu

Coresteel Manawatu has clinched the prestigious Warehouse Building of the Year award for their exceptional LT McGuinness Levin project. The accolade recognizes Coresteel Manawatu’s commitment to delivering high-quality, state-of-the-art warehouse facilities.

 

Workshop & Factory Building of the Year – Coresteel Waikato

Coresteel Waikato has secured the distinguished Workshop & Factory Building of the Year award for their outstanding work on Roofing Industries’ new factory. Boasting an impressive 4910m2 of space adorned with modern architectural details, this achievement highlights Coresteel Waikato’s unparalleled expertise and dedication to excellence in construction.
