Coresteel on show at ‘Made in Wairarapa Expo’
Coresteel has officially been launched into the Wairarapa at the ‘Made in Wairarapa’ Expo.
Director Marc Jurlina says having recently purchased the Coresteel franchises in Wairarapa and Wellington, the expo was a great opportunity to showcase both the Coresteel brand and its cold formed steel technology.
“It’s the first time we’ve attended the Made in Wairarapa Expo and we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of enquiry and interest. We had really positive feedback, with quite a lot of follow-ups.”
Marc says the Coresteel system is very easy to explain to people.
“The Wairarapa is a stronghold rural community so there’s a lot of steel buildings associated with machinery and general farming. We see great potential for Coresteel in this region, as well as in Wellington, where there’s a lot of commercial and industrial building happening.”
Marc says joining Coresteel has added to the company’s diversification, making for a stronger future. “We’re optimistic about the future; we are already starting to see improvements in the building market.”
Marc is director of Holmes Construction Group Ltd, alongside brothers Andy and Tim Holmes, who took over the business from their father. The company was established in 1957 and works across the lower North Island, with the head office in Greytown, Wairarapa.
