Coresteel Central Plateau Named 2020 Franchise of the Year Winner

Coresteel Central Plateau won the highly-coveted title of Franchise of the Year at the annual national Coresteel Buildings Conference, held 4-5 May in Napier.

The Central Plateau franchise is owned and operated by Logan Frew and Lee Parker-Frew, who have been running the franchise together for over seven years.

“We are completely blown away to be awarded 2020’s Franchise of the year and to be recognised with the Design Excellence Award. 2020 presented many challenges that our team navigated with resilience and perseverance, having the support from an amazing crew of contractors and suppliers all contributing to our success.”

“We would like to acknowledge and thank our clients, contractors and suppliers along with the support from the amazing team at our franchise head office,” says Lee.

In addition to winning Franchise of the Year, Logan and Lee also won the Design Station Excellence award. This award is judged on a franchisee’s communication, responsiveness, professionalism and ability to provide comprehensive information, all of which Logan and Lee have demonstrated over the past year.

Lee, Logan and the Central Plateau team should be congratulated on picking up not only the coveted Franchise of the Year award but also the Design Station Excellence award.”

“The awards recognise both an outstanding achievement in business performance but also the consistent demonstration of professionalism and living the Coresteel values,” says Simon Archer, Coresteel Buildings Commercial Manager.

In the past year, Central Plateau has orchestrated the complete construction of many commercial and industrial buildings around their region. Some of their most notable projects include a bespoke ambulance facility for St. Johns, a custom-fit workshop for Caulfield Signs as well as a 961m2 commercial showroom for Norwood.

“We believe our success is also realised due to the excellence of our Coresteel Buildings Franchise network around the country. We are privileged to be a part of an amazing group of business owners that share, collaborate, and support one another during the tough times and we believe this factors into the success of Coresteel Buildings.”

“We look forward to seeing what the balance of 2021 can throw at the greater Coresteel team and how much more resilient the network can become,” says Lee.

Coresteel Buildings specialise in the design, manufacture and construction of large scale steel buildings in the commercial and industrial market.
