Shane Brooker Named Coresteel’s Runner-up Salesperson of the Year
Coresteel Buildings Hawke’s Bay director Shane Brooker has been awarded Runner-up Salesperson of the Year.
The award was received at the annual Coresteel Buildings National Conference, held 7-8 March in Whangarei.
Coresteel Buildings specialise in the design, manufacture and construction of steel buildings.
“Shane has been integral to Coresteel’s growth in the Hawke’s Bay. His team has worked tirelessly in setting up the business in this region, with true rewards coming through,” says Haemish Reid, General Manager, Coresteel Buildings.
“Sales can be challenging, but the end result of supplying a customer with a solution they are really happy with makes it all worthwhile,” says Shane Brooker, Director, Coresteel Buildings Hawke’s Bay.
“During the past year we’ve worked with some excellent clients and with their support, we’ve brought the Coresteel brand a long way in our region. Over the next 12 months, I’m focused on developing this growth, while supplying locals with great sheds and commercial building systems.”
A born and bred Hawke’s Bay local, Shane grew up in Puketapu. Out of high school he became a self-employed agricultural contractor, before moving into sales and the installation of cattle handling systems. He purchased Woolaway Construction 11 years ago and started FarmQuip four years later, where he began designing and selling animal management systems. Coresteel Buildings was added to the company’s offerings in 2016.
