  1. How long have you worked for Coresteel?
About two years. Fieldays 2015 was the first task I carried out in my role with Coresteel Central Plateau.
  2. What do you enjoy most about sales?
I get a kick out of meeting loads of different people from different backgrounds, hearing their stories and what their plans are for their new Coresteel building.
  3. Before working for Coresteel what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?
I once modelled surgical garments at a medical conference.
  4. What awards and accolades have you achieved?
In my career at Coresteel, I was thrilled to achieve the Marketing Excellence Award for 2016.
  5. What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
“This too will pass and become a memory.”
  6. Where’s your hometown?
Taupo is the town I have spent most of my life. You can’t beat it on a crisp frosty morning when the sky is clear and the mountains look like a picture down the end of the lake.
  7. Who lives at your house?
My husband Logan (Coresteel Central Plateau’s construction manager) and I have a family home in Katikati and we normally head there on Thursday evenings and spend the weekend with our two girls Tagan and Dakota. My parents also live on the property and look after our children when we’re working in Taupo. We also have Ra the 2-year-old Labrador, 3 pigs, 2 cows, 6 chickens, a cat that is scared of people, and a worm farm.
  8. Of all the countries you’ve travelled to, which is your favourite?
Just one?! I have a special connection with Scotland as Logan and I spent our two-year OE there, but other than that I love Italy- great food, great wine (not the 2 euro stuff though) nice climate, and fantastic scenery.
  9. Where’s your favourite place to go on holiday in NZ?
Napier – we’ve always had great weekends away in Napier. There’s nothing better than parking up at a restaurant harbourside at Ahuriri with a good bottle of wine and great food and soaking up the Hawke’s Bay sun. And I love anything Art Deco.
  10. What’s on your bucket list?
I dream of staying at an ice hotel and viewing the Northern Lights.
