Coresteel Buildings Manawatu director Geoff Spencer has been awarded Runner-up Salesperson of the Year.
The awards were received at the annual Coresteel Buildings National Conference, held 1-2 March in Christchurch. Coresteel Buildings specialise in the design, manufacture and construction of steel buildings.
“Geoff is extremely passionate and experienced with the Coresteel products and capabilities. A direct result is Geoff’s referral business from satisfied customers proving that he is successfully delivering the brand and subsequent projects across his region,” says Haemish Reid, General Manager, Coresteel Buildings.
In the past year, Coresteel Manawatu has worked on major commercial builds for Massey University, Ross Intermediate School, Work and Income New Zealand, Total Stockcrates, Carters Tyres, Burnell Builders and Rutherford Storage, alongside a number of other commercial and rural builds.
“The Coresteel system has the technology and flexibility to provide each of our customers with a bespoke design. Our designs are not limited to set modules or sizes and are able to utilise either cold form steel or our Tapered Box Beam structural system to provide the most economical option,” says Geoff Spencer, Director, Coresteel Buildings Manawatu.
Before Coresteel, Geoff spent 25 years in the construction industry, starting with a trade and advancing through the ranks to project management and later as a company director. Following this Geoff sold his shares and purchased the Coresteel franchise.
Geoff is also the owner/driver of the Coresteel V8 Ute, in the NZ V8 Ute Racing championship. He placed sixth overall for the 2016/2017 championship.
