The Kenneally Timber warehouse is another classic example of what we’re capable of. Kenneally Timber produce and supply quality timber to the Christchurch market and have done so for over 50 years. After outgrowing their existing premises, they approached Coresteel Buildings to design and build a custom 1200m² warehouse that would be large enough to meet their growing requirements.
It was our exclusive DonoBeam system that caught Kenneally Timber’s attention. Without supporting brackets or braces, DonoBeam is perfectly suited for large-scale warehouses because of the extra usable internal space it offers. For a business like Kenneally Timber who are looking to increase their capacity, every available square meter counts.
This design and build job ran smoothly and represents a big step forward for this local Kiwi company. We managed the process from concept to completion with our in-house design, engineering, manufacturing and construction teams. By managing the entire building journey, the Coresteel Canterbury team were able to deliver this project within a shorter timeframe all while maintaining a cost-effective cost for the client.
